    <description>Title: Well-posedness for a stochastic Camassa–Holm type equation with higher order nonlinearities
Authors: Yingting, Miao; Christian, Rohde; Hao, Tang
Abstract: This paper aims at studying a generalized Camassa–Holm equation under random perturbation. We establish a local well-posedness result in the sense of Hadamard, i.e., existence, uniqueness and continuous dependence on initial data, as well as blow-up criteria for pathwise solutions in the Sobolev spaces Hs with s&gt;3/2 for x∈R&#xD;
. The analysis on continuous dependence on initial data for nonlinear stochastic partial differential equations has gained less attention in the literature so far.

    <description>Title: Warped Ruled Surfaces of Historical Stone Bridges in Prague
Authors: Dana, Kolarova
Abstract: This research concerns the use of warped ruled surfaces in the load bearing structures of 19th century stone bridges in Prague. The descriptions of a skew arch used at The Negrelli Viaduct and a special surface called “corne de vache” used at The Legion Bridge are based not only on historical survey, archival materials and period publications, but also on contemporary measurements.

    <description>Title: Use of giant reed (Arundo donax L.) for polymer composites obtaining: a mapping review
Authors: Luis Suárez, Ortega Zaida Ortega; Mateusz, Barczewski; Eoin, Cunningham
Abstract: The massive biomass availability generated by the common giant reed (Arundo donax L.) motivates the research for its possible industrial use for high-added-value products through a biorefinery approach. The literature demonstrates the potential of common cane to obtain different high-value compounds, such as levulinic acid, oligosaccharides, fermentable sugars, highly digestible fiber for animal feed, polyphenols, and natural fibers for composite materials, among others. Arundo can also provide valuable lignocellulosic fibers with an application as composite reinforcement, which is the aim of this review. The work is split into different sections: fiber obtaining, mainly done by mechanical procedures, fiber characterization (composition, thermal degradation, "mechanical properties", and crystallinity), and properties of composites with reed fiber.

    <description>Title: Upcycling of waste polyethylene and cement kiln dust to produce polymeric composite sheets using gamma irradiation
Authors: Ehab E., Khozemy; H., Radi; Nabila A., Mazied
Abstract: Cement kiln dust (CKD) is a residue produced during the manufacture of cement that contains hazardous solid waste of high toxicity that affects the environment and public health. In this study, the possibility of using CKD as a filler in the plastic and rubber industry was studied. The effect of CKD concentration and gamma irradiation dose on the mechanical and physico-chemical properties of the composite containing waste polyethylene/devulcanized rubber/EPDM rubber (named blank) was investigated. Different concentrations of CKD, namely 10, 15, 20, and 30 phr (part per hundred part of composite), were used. The results indicated that this composite (blended with CKD) properties were improved.
