<description>Nhan đề : Work engagement and employee satisfaction in the practice of sustainable human resource management – based on the study of Polish employees
Tác giả : Barbara, Sypniewska; Małgorzata, Baran; Monika, Kłos
Tóm tắt : Sustainable human resource management (SHRM) views employees as a very important resource for the organisation, while paying close attention to their preferences, needs, and perspectives. The individual is an essential element of SHRM. The article focuses on analyzing selected SHRM issues related to the individual employee's level of job engagement and employee satisfaction. The main objective of our study was to identify individual-level correlations between factors affecting employee satisfaction, such as: workplace well-being, employee development, employee retention, job engagement, and employee satisfaction. Based on the results of a systematic literature review, we posed the following research question: is there any relation between factors affecting employee satisfaction (employee workplace well-being, employee development, employee retention, work engagement) and employee satisfaction in the SHRM context?

      <title>Whither compassionate leadership? A systematic review</title>
      <link>https://dlib.phenikaa-uni.edu.vn/handle/PNK/7911</link>
<description>Nhan đề : Whither compassionate leadership? A systematic review
Tác giả : Sunder, Ramachandran; Sreejith, Balasubramanian
Tóm tắt : Recent disastrous events, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, has amplified the appeal for compassionate leadership in organizations and is viewed as the need of the hour. While compassion is a timeless concept, there appears to be a lack of clarity around the idea of compassionate leadership, and the current understanding appears limited, fragmented, and scattered across the literature. This integrative systematic review of 41 articles during the last 20 years (2002–2021) conceptualizes six critical dimensions of compassionate leadership, namely: empathy; openness and communication; physical, mental health and well-being; inclusiveness; integrity; respect and dignity.

<title>When nudges promote neutral behavior: an experimental study of managerial decisions under risk and uncertainty</title>

<description>Nhan đề : When nudges promote neutral behavior: an experimental study of managerial decisions under risk and uncertainty
Tác giả : Erich, Renz; Marvin M., Müller; Kim Leonardo, Böhm
Tóm tắt : Managers often make decisions in situations involving risk and uncertainty. To ensure the prosperity of the company, neutral behavior is desirable in such situations. However, when evaluating future-oriented managerial actions, cognitive biases can arise that are manifested as aversions towards risky and uncertain situations, leading to non-optimal decisions. In an online experiment with a convenience sample of 298 US participants, we investigate deviations from risk- and uncertainty-neutral managerial decisions and apply neutrality-promoting behavioral interventions in a business venture setting. We find that using a recommendation nudge before as well as after making an initial decision improves individual performance to achieve higher neutrality levels.

<title>When Can Oil Economies Be Deemed Sustainable?</title>
      <link>https://dlib.phenikaa-uni.edu.vn/handle/PNK/6526</link>
<description>Nhan đề : When Can Oil Economies Be Deemed Sustainable?
Tác giả : Giacomo, Luciani; Tom, Moerenhout
Tóm tắt : This open access book questions the stereotype depicting all Gulf (GCC) economies as not sustainable, and starts a critical discussion of what these economies and polities should do to guarantee themselves a relatively stable future. Volatile international oil markets and the acceleration of the energy transition has challenged the notion that oil revenues are sufficient to sustain oil economies in the near to medium term. But what is the meaning of economic sustainability? The book discusses the multiple dimensions of the concept: economic diversification, continuing value of resources, taxation and fiscal development, labor market sustainability, sustainable income distribution, environmental sustainability, political order (democracy or authoritarianism) and sustainability, regional integration. The overarching message in this book is that we should move on from the simplistic branding of the Gulf economies as unsustainable and tackle the details of which adaptations they might need to undertake.
