dc.description.abstractThis graduation paper focuses on investigating the difficulties in learning English speaking skills among the second-year English majors at Phenikaa University. By using the quantitative method and a tool of questionnaire, this research analyze those students' perception about how frequently they encounter each of the difficulties when learning English speaking skills and simultaneously investigate their opinion about the level of effectiveness of some suggested solutions by using the Likert scale. The general outcome of the research is fairly optimistic & the detailed results may contribute to improving not only the students' self-study methods but also the lecturers' teaching techniques in the context of tertiary education.vi
