This research uses a survey questionnaire and semi-constructed interview to obtain data about the difficulties students have when writing academic essays and to provide particular solutions to help them improve their writing skills. Particularly, this study assesses students perceptions of the most common mistakes they make in such different stages of writing academic essays as planning, drafting, and revising. Basing on the identified mistakes, the research will offer suggestions for improvements in students' writing of academic essays. |
