    This present research aims to find out the extent to which the dictation method enhances listening comprehension among third year English majors of Phenikaa University. With an evaluation method that has been scaled up, the study’s objectives will try to establish the effects that dictation exercises have on the comprehension of spoken English among students. The study will use pre- and post-dictation comprehension check, to determine the degree of enhancement of the students’ listening skills resulting from dictation.
