    The growing interest in blockchain technology has gained a lot of attention in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and sparked the quest for decentralized, scalable, efficient and trustworthy consensus schemes. Traditional blockchains rely on computationally expensive consensus mechanisms with low throughput and high latency.
